Market Policies
1) Vendors must obey the rules and regulations of the hosting venue.
2) Vendors must abide by all state, local, and federal laws and ordinances. This includes Michigan Cottage Law.

3) No set required times for vendors to show up or leave; if a vendor is sold-out, receiving no business, or any other personal reason they may leave as long as it does not interfere with the other vendors or customers. Vendor will not be allowed to drive vehicle into market space for loading or unloading.
4) No rules prohibiting outside of designation market time sales, other than it must be within allowed rental period of hosting venue (often 1 hour before and 1 hour after the formal start of the market, during set-up and take-down).
5) No additional restrictions regarding dress-code such as masks or any other external paraphernalia (though KMA will respect and defer to state and federal law).
6) Vendor fees will not exceed $50/season or $10/drop-in. There is no fee for youth (18 and under).
7) Only small businesses located in Houghton, Keweenaw, Baraga, Ontonagon, and Gogebic Counties are welcome to become vendors. Outside vendors must contact the market manager for special exemptions.
8) Any audio or music via vendors or live entertainment will be kept to a volume to allow vendor-customer communication.
